VIENNA, VA – Tuesday, February 1, 2022 – Yakima County, Washington recently awarded Televate, LLC a contract to assess the feasibility of developing integrated and interoperable radio communications solutions for the over two dozen federal, state, local and tribal public safety agencies within the County.
In supporting this system integration and interoperability initiative, Televate will closely collaborate with the County’s stakeholders to better define the technical and functional capabilities and gaps of the disparate systems currently operating in the County. Anchored on stakeholder input and independent analyses, Televate will develop a conceptual plan for sustainable, reliable, and interoperable Countywide radio system solutions that address the end users’ operational needs in a cost-effective manner. Once complete, Televate will support the County with developing specifications and procuring the solution(s).
