The Village of Croton-on-Hudson, New York contracted Televate to compile an inventory of the existing wireless infrastructure in the Village and to provide recommendations regarding its wireless facilities code/regulations. To identify the cell sites used by each of the three major providers, Televate used its Pinpoint software with devices and service from each carrier. The coverage analysis also highlighted where the carriers lacked the signal levels in order to provide quality service.
Televate conducted interviews with two of the three major carriers regarding their plans for Croton-on-Hudson as well as their perspectives on the Village’s wireless facilities code. Televate also conducted a Village-wide survey among businesses and residences to assess their willingness for new towers and to better understand their perspectives on tower height, stealthing, and the location of service issues throughout the Village.
