Pinpoint can help you comprehensively test commercial carrier networks and provide a clear and unambiguous representation of the service area of any carrier network. Where other crowd-sourced tools present information only where service exists, Pinpoint collects information everywhere—especially in areas where the network begins to fail or where service does not exist. This information can drive discussions with your carrier to make the improvements you need to your network.
What information does Pinpoint collect?
Pinpoint collects network coverage and performance metrics such as service availability, service level, and signal level. It also provides a variety of information that other crowd-sourcing tools don’t provide, including frequency, cell ID and timing advance, and more.

What do I have to provide?
You provide the Android-based smartphones with wireless carrier subscriptions, phone numbers, and the manpower to travel around your county to collect the data. There are no other costs and there’s no obligation to continue with a paid subscription.
How do I qualify?
If you represent a countywide government agency that serves a population below 100,000 or a tribal nation of any size, you’re most of the way there. Be sure to sign up with your email address that validates that you’re part of a qualifying government agency.
